Our Introductory Course is a 3 month, one-on-one, comprehensive learning experience that propels your confidence and teaches you the skills you need to begin marketing yourself as an injector.

This course is designed for injectors who are currently injecting and wanting to expand on skills. Advanced off label training available. This is a customized training tailored to fit the needs of the injector.

Hi, I’m Traci! I have a passion for helping others recognize their potential and put it into action! Throughout the years, whether I have been taking on teaching opportunities at Parkland Hospital, coaching and encouraging my team in a direct-sales role, or training clients in the world of fitness and wellness, I’ve always thrived when I am educating and leading. Now, I am beyond excited to welcome each one of you to Urbane Aesthetiks Academy. Here, you will learn, grow, and evolve as you gain insight and education on what it takes to be an exceptional injector in today’s rapidly expanding medical aesthetics industry.
When I first became a nurse in my early 20s, I gained confidence quickly at Parkland Hospital. As young nurses thrust into the intense action of the ICU, our mentors quickly taught us the motto: “See one, do one, teach one.” This meant we had to learn to watch a procedure, do it, and then be able to teach it to someone else if it was necessary--in real time, with real patients. We all learned quickly, and the “Parkland Mentality” has remained an integral part of my identity as a nurse. As I continued my career at Parkland, I became involved in the education department and helped educate other nurses--a fulfilling and purpose-driven role that truly introduced me to my love of educating. As I worked at Parkland, I also created and later sold Urbane Scrubs, the first fashion-forward scrub brand that is still available today.
My direct sales and fitness experience also impacted my desire to lead and teach: I led a large team to financial success and coached bodybuilding athletes as I embarked on a successful bodybuilding career of my own. As I truly owned my life and helped others own theirs, I began to realize the thing that brought me joy was helping other people step into their power--that never changed, even if the career, workplace, or industry did.
When I became interested in the world of medical aesthetics, I knew I had to become the student. In fact, I had to totally embody the “Parkland Mentality” I had learned early on in my professional life: See one, do one, teach one. I took multiple trainings with top injectors, attended a cadaver course with Dr. Jonathan Sykes, and was selected to attend the Merz Institute of Advanced Aesthetics Masterclass Series in 2019-2020.
When I first began my journey with Urbane Aesthetiks, I had no idea I would be training and mentoring other injectors. However, as I learned and grew, I found that the aesthetic industry is competitive: many people and businesses in this sector are trying to increase profits at any cost. I wanted to be different. I knew I had to create a space for community and authenticity, both with my patients and with my colleagues. The idea to create Urbane Aesthetiks Academy and offer courses to aspiring injectors just made complete sense. After pouring into myself for 7 years, I knew it was time at the end of 2020 to step forward once more and launch the Academy--and here we are!
The Academy is a result of me recognizing the dire need in the medical aesthetics industry for resources, courses, and community for budding injectors. I knew I had to create a space where questions are welcome, knowledge is shared, and everyone grows, so that’s just what I did. I’m here to encourage you, teach you, and help you navigate the path to becoming a Master Injector, and Urbane Aesthetiks Academy is excited to welcome you!
